I wrote the D.C. Archives on July 2 requesting a copy of a will--supplied them with name of deceased, year of death, and Box number. I received a copy on July 19--no charge and no SASE required. Apparently, the key is to have the box number--some nice man whose name I have forgotten gave me the number--this was on this site several months ago. This is the cheapest, quickest research I've done so far. ----- Original Message ----- From: WashingtonDC-D-request@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, July 26, 2002 7:08 PM To: WashingtonDC-D@rootsweb.com Subject: WashingtonDC-D Digest V02 #139 Content-Type: text/plain WashingtonDC-D Digest Volume 02 : Issue 139 Today's Topics: #1 [WashingtonDC'' ] Re: DC Archives [Baclem5656@aol.com] #2 RE: [WashingtonDC'' ] Re: DC Archi ["William Boswell" <whbos@att.net>] #3 Re: [WashingtonDC'' ] Re: DC Archi ["Kathleen Bowen" <katbowen@earthli] #4 Re: [WashingtonDC'' ] Re: DC Archi [" GMBy" <gmbird@email.msn.com>] #5 [WashingtonDC'' ] Birth & death Ce ["RoseAnn & James R Brill" <brillr@] #6 [WashingtonDC'' ] Hotel ["Barton Hall" <Bartonhall@olg.com>] #7 [WashingtonDC'' ] Nelson [Sue Dotson <buzzybee@prodigy.net>] #8 [WashingtonDC'' ] Acess to DC reco [MRCACG@aol.com] #9 RE: [WashingtonDC'' ] Birth & deat ["William Boswell" <whbos@att.net>] #10 Re: [WashingtonDC'' ] Birth & deat ["Margy Bousman" <mbousman7@cox.net] #11 Re: [WashingtonDC'' ] Collins Fune [Jclynch1@aol.com] #12 RE: [WashingtonDC'' ] Birth & deat ["Janice M.
