Does anyone know if it is possible for receive copies of documents from the DC Archives by mail? I know for a long while they were short staff and underfunded and were not sending out information. Has the situation changed? Barbara
That's news to me. Has it changed over the last year or two? They used to send information by mail for free. Several years ago I used to receive information by fax within 30 minutes, but I guess those days are over. Are we only able to go down there and look up the information ourselves? I moved from the D.C. area recently and can only request by mail. Maybe they should start charging for the information. I wouldn't have a problem paying for it.
