Hello, I just received a photocopy of an article of the family of Addison L. Davis who was b. in Fredericksburg, Va in 1812 and whose family lived in Wash, DC. The article was published in 1924 in the Rambler a newspaper of Fairfax Co., VA. It tells of his wife and children and their families, etc. The photocopy is very light quality, but if anyone is related to this family, and would like a photocopy, I would be glad to do that and mail it to you. I have a Davis family in that area and when I saw an index indicating "a brief history of the DAVIS family" I took a gamble and ordered a copy from the Fairfax Co. library. It was not my family after all, but maybe with someoneon the list this name will ring a bell. Joe
