When my zone alarm caught the virus, it renamed the file, so I did not see the 2 dots. Odd thing is my AVG did not pick it up..Thank goodness for Zone Alarm..although I never do run or open attachments unless it is a picture, and I can see the .jpg or .gif file in the body of my message before i open it..and that is also when I know it is coming before hand..I learned the hard way..and only took one time. My uncle is infamous for sending jokes via attachment, last year when we got our new puter, I was too buisy playing w/the puter to update my virus scan..and I opened the attachment..took me hours of cleaning..LOL.. I agree with you though, I really do not understand the logic in some people's minds as far as taking all the time to create virus's to damage other people's computers.
