There were at one time many native Americans in Maryland. The Algonquian Federation inhabited much of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Piscataway Nation inhabited Maryland and Virginia.. Specific "tribes": Delaware, Powhatan, Nanticoke, Susquehannack, Chapticoes, Accohannock. Of these, the only one I am aware of still having active tribal functions are the Nanticoke.
