Hello, I am trying to confirm the names of the parents of William Francis DAVIS b. abt. Apr 19, 1842 in Georgetown, DC. and died there in 1873. He lived on Bridge St. in Georgetown. I think his parents were James M. DAVIS and his wife Josephine LEWIS. William Francis DAVIS married Amanda ______ ? b 1850 MD and died in DC in 1919. They had at least two children: Josephine DAVIS, b. 1869 and William Frederick Schafer DAVIS, b. 1871, DC and d. there in 1914. These folks are all buried at Oak Hill Cem. in Georgetown, DC.
