    3. Hi- If you look at the 1880 census for Michael and Bridget, in DC, they have three daughters, Mary C(listed as a servant), age 21, Maggie, age 20 and Nellie(Ellen?) age 18. Have you found Bridget on the 1900 census to see how many children she had? Kate prswain <prswain@bellsouth.net> wrote: Looking for information on Michael O'Leary, b abt 1819, d 1899 in Annapolis, and his wife Bridgett Welsh (Walsh?). They had 2 daughters I know of: Margaret m Samuel Garrett Swain in Washington in 1892, and Mary Cecelia, who never married, and was the cook at St. Elizabeth's Hospital for many years. There are 2 other young women buried in their burial plot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery; Annie d 1876 age 15, and Ellen d 1884 age 22. Could they be other daughters? Since this family was Catholic and lived in DC, perhaps someone with access to church records could find something about them. I would appreciate any clues anyone has. 3. have you thought to see if the surname Welch might have been Bridget's maiden name? My God provides my every need according to His riches in glory. 3. Hi Kate, Thank you so much for your information. I have not had the opportunity to check the census records on this family. Maggie (Margaret) was my husband's grandmother and so far I have depended on records and information the family already had. I appreciate your response.
