    3. Marge, If there is no other way to get the death date, you can always order microfilm from the Family History Center in your area. They have a list of deaths that occurred in DC and the dates. If you are in the DC area the DC Archives has microfilm with names and dates. There is a place for the names of parents on the death certificates but unfortunately it is not always filled in. I found this to be true on several that I ordered. Good luck in your search.
