I am researching an O'Leary line in DC. Arthur O'Leary (born Ireland 1818) married Catherine Costello (born Ireland abt 1830) marriage abt about 1848. Their children (all born in the District of Columbia) are Jeremiah (born 1850), John (born 1863), Timothy (born 1859), Mary C. (born 1861) Margaret "Maggie" (born 1867) Catherine "Kate" (born 1869) Johannah M. (born 1869). I don't know if Arthur O'Leary had any brothers, but it doesn't seem that your Michael and Bridget are connected to my O'Leary line. Hi Marguerite, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I have no information about Michael O'Leary, other than that he was born about1819 in Ireland and died in Annapolis in 1899. I have even less on his wife Bridget. This is my late husband's family, and his father, Samuel Garrett Swain, Jr. seemed unaware of any possible cousins. I suppose it is possible that Michael and Bridget came over from Ireland alone, and had no other children other than Mary and Maggie.
