    3. Hi list, The National Archives in DC (and all of the branches) have these WWI draft registration cards on mic rofilm. This is a really great resource that few people seem to know about. You do need to know where the person lived in 1917/1918 but otherwise it's pretty easy to use these films. One of the best things about the draft registration cards is that they give some information about the men's height, build, and eye and hair color, which is not something that one can generally find in other sources. They also list next of kin and often a place of work. I found both of my grandfathers and all of my great uncles cards in a few hours one day down at the Archives. -Bryan-
