I am looking for information about the family of George W Taylor. He was born in Virginia . He was married to Rebecca Mouldon and had a very large family. He was a participant in the Civil War. I suspect he was on the side of the North, although I do not know in what capacity. He was appointed to the Washington DC post office as a result of his war efforts. He died in Washington DC in about 1914. His daughter , My great grandmother Lillian Taylor was married in the Grace ME Church in DC ,on October 17 1894, to Luther Kellam Fish. They then moved to Brooklyn , Pennsylvania. I know there are other members of this very large family. I met 2 of them in 1974. Since that time my great aunt has passed away and I do not have their addresses. One lived in Idaho and another in Colorado. Any information at all would be appreciated . The names are very common except each of George's daughter's names was a kind of flower. Lillian ,Rose, Daisy, and there was a George Junior and a Jo! hn who lived for a time in Utah around 1900.
