Does anyone know if the staff at Fort Lincoln Cemetery is receptive to researchers?? J

They are NOT. They will only give you information on one or two names at a time, and only then if they think you are immediate family. Even then, they are only receptive if they think there is any chance you might be bringing them business any time soon. Depending on your age, I found out it sometimes works to call ahead and tell them you are wanting information on the grave of a grandparent or parent's [relationship (aunt, sister -- something close) & name of deceased] so that when you "plan" to arrive WITH this elderly person, the grandparent or parent won't have so far to walk around to find the grave. That usually works and they treat you better because they think your elderly person might be their future business. I went to this cemetery and was treated very good. I was looking for my husband's grandmother. Since the Jane Adams that they had interned at Ft. Lincoln was not mine....they suggested and gave me the information on all the cemeteries in the area.
