Elizabeth Rizer married Joseph M. McClelland in 1849 in Allegany co, Maryland. They are in Allegany co. in the 1850 and 1860 census. In 1880 and 1900 the family is found in Washington D.C. The family consisted of Joseph b. Nov 1827, and wife Elizabeth (Rizer) b. Mar 1830. Children were Rosabell b. 1852, George P. born 1854, Edward L. born Nov 1855, Clara b. 1857, Ernest M. born 1869, and Grace McClelland b. 1874.
