Hello, I'm looking for a Washington DC marriage pro ably in the late 1870s. Alice E. Riston (Ritson) to a Gibson. The 1930 census indicates she was 19 at the time of her first marriage, which I calculate would be about 1876. By the time of the 1880 census she is already a widow, not leaving many clues as to Mr. Gibson's first name. Alice had a son Charles "Henry" Gibson and I have found a Henry Gibson (b. ca 1855) living in Georgetown in 1870, but don't know if there is any connection.
