Drury, of the City of Washington, District of Columbia, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do unto this my last will and testament - I hereby revoking and xxxxxxxxxx? (there is a stamp mark here) any and all former wills by me at any time made, in manner following, that is to say -- After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, I give, bequeath and devise my estate as follows:-- First - I give, bequeath and devise all of my property, real, personal and mixed?, which I now own, or may hereafter acquire, wherever the same may situate, and including the property in Chicago, Illinois; to George H. Schaeffer, equally. - Said trustee, or anyone acting in his place, is hereby fully authorized and empowered to do any and all acts which he thinks necessary or proper to be done in connection with the settlement of my estate, the purchasers of said realty being hereby relieved from seeing to the proper application of purchase ?????, it being my intention to fully empower my said trustee to manage, sell and convey any and all of my property, at such prices as he, in his sole discretion, shall think proper, except that he is hereby requested to settle my estate as soon after my death as it, in his opinion, can advantageously be done, in the event there is not sufficient to pay all the legacies herein specified in full, there they share proportionately; and in the event any said legatees dies, before me or during the time in which my estate is being settled, and leaves child or children surviving, their said child or children shall be entitled to this which the parent would have taken or been entitled to, if living; in the event any said legatees die childless before me, or during the time in which my estate is being setled, then said legacy shall go into and become a part of the corpus of my estate, and paid to my remaining legatees, if all the legatees have been paid in full; said trustee shall give bond for the faithful performance of his trust, the amount thereof to be fixed by the Court. - The reason I do not leave anything to the children of my brother, William, is that they are well fixed financially; and the reason I do not give anything to my brother Walt(er) children is that I have already given them some property; the reason I do not give my niece, Mary Elizabeth Sheahan Walsh, of Chicago, anything, is that she is wealthy, or well provided for; and the reason I do not give my nephew, Henry Eulick, anything is that he is wealthy; I have, by deeds, already given some property to my nieces, Rose M. Schaeffer and Josephine Casilead, which I hereby confirm, it being my wish to give them what is provided for herein in addition to what has already been conveyed to them, as my said two nieces have taken care of me, and nursed me, and have done more for me than any of my other relatives. -- I hereby nominate, constitute, an appoint George H.
