" During her life after her death to be divided between brothers and sister and then names them, brothers have the last name Simms. Wm. Rhodes and James Hoban are executors & trustees.     3. Thanks Margy. I have one reference that William Rhodes of Rhodes Tavern in early Washington married a daughter of Joseph Semmes, also a prominent Washington innkeeper. This would seem to buttress the claims of a close relationship between the Rhodes and Simms/Semmes families. However, so far I have yet to find an actual citation to any marriage.     3. They do name the sisters-neither has the last name Rhodes. I'm not sure where you get administrations in DC but William Rhodes does have one. RHODES, William 26 FEB 1828 admin.
