    3. Is this the correct list, or is there another, that specializes in the history of DC itself, not just the families that inhabit DC. I am interested in any information about a SINCLAIR Hotel. Any one know where this hotel was located - street or cross streets - or where to go to find information about DC's history that could shed light on this establishment? Chris Watson

    3. Chris, You might check with Martin Luther King Library, Washingtoniana Room or the DC Archives. Mary My God provides my every need according to His riches in glory. 3. If your public library system has The Historic Washington Post (an online database), you could look up the Sinclair Hotel in that. There is a search function: I found a lot of material on a couple of ancestors who were in DC in the early 1900s. Do you have any dates for the Sinclair Hotel? There are a lot of local histories of this area out there, from the "postcard books" to academic works. 3. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HistoricWashington/ The yahoo group above might also be a good place to ask. A google search turned up nothing on it. Can you tell us _anything_ about this hotel? A time frame would help, A newspaper ad from a certain year-a family letter etc...any kind of time estimate. Several here have access to old newspapers or directories - a general era would help. 3. The Library of Congress website also has a lot of old historic photos for DC and other places: http://www.loc.gov/rr/ I did a search for Sinclair Hotel, but nothing seemed to turn up. There was one in New Hampshire so I figured it wasn't the correct one.
