Would anyone know if the District of Columbia Board of Health records for 1832 still exist? There was an apparent cholera epidemic in that year (probably more years than just 1832) and the names of those who died from the disease were often published in the "National Intelligencer." Might hard copies of these records still exist? and where? Sincerely, Toni Lake

Someone has transcribed National Intelligencer items -- mainly obituaries and marriage announcements I believe -- and published these in paper-back volumes. I can get the publication info. These might be available by InterLibrary Loan.
