To the D.C. List, I am researching an ancestor who lived in Georgetown around 1830 - 1860. When did Georgetown become part of the District? Also, are there any Catholic cemeteries in the Georgetown area that were in existance during that time? The family belonged to Holy Trinity parish. Thanks, Sue
