    2. A reporter in Washington, DC from the Washington City Paper has made an urgent request for assistance, Perhaps someone on this list can assist as well. Trish Hi! I'm a writer for the Washington City Paper in D.C. who is writing a story on efforts to build a national slavery museum. I am looking for folks who live in D.C. or the D.C. area who are very knowledgeable about their family's history dating back to pre-Civil War times. I want to include stories and histories of real people and families in my story, which discusses how slavery has not been given enough attention in public historical sites or national museums. If there is anyone who would like to tell his/her family story, please contact me ASAP by email or at 202-332-2100 ext. 455. Thank you very much for your help. -Annys Shin Senior Writer Washington City Paper www.washingtoncitypaper.com
