In the 1900 Census of DC Dr. Aaron Baldwin is 86 (b. 1914). He was b. in NY as were both his parents according to the census. He is listed as a boarder living with David and Mary Gitt. Aaron Baldwin found in: Census Microfilm Records: Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, 1900 Lived in: Washington, Washington County, District of Columbia Series: T623 Microfilm: 161 Book: 1 Page: 4 There are no other Aaron Baldwin's in DC listed in 1900 Hope that helps - I'll search in newspapers later Unfortunately, census records prior to 1850 don't give a lot of solid info, but you may be able to get a location in NY and how many were in the home. I am trying to find some info. on a Dr. Aaron Baldwin who practiced medicine in D.C. in 1900. His father and mother, Aaron and Sally Baldwin, raised their children in Tioga Co. Pa. in the mid 1800's. I do not have a birth date for Aaron Jr. but figure he may be 50 or 60 in 1900. His wife was Fanny and they had a least one daughter named Kate (she married Dr. Wentworth Vedder. Kate and husband were buried back in Tioga Co. Pa.) > > My main interest is when and where Aaron Jr. died and maybe an obituary. I am lost on this guy and would be grateful for any thoughts or help. > > Sincerely, Paula Sauer Talbot > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
