Does anyone know the current status of the D.C. Archives? Does it still take up to a year or more to get copies of death certificates and wills? Are they still accepting requests by mail or does it have to be in person? Is it still free or are they charging for it? Sorry for all the questions, but I have another request to send them and don't want to submit a request if the policy has changed. I recently moved from the D.C. area much too far away to go in person and have to rely on snail mail requests. Some time ago someone had mentioned the D.C. website as a possible source for making requests, but I could not find a link associated with this on their site. Bill Boswell
