Hello! I am seeking information on Arbaugh's Restaurant which used to be located somewhere up on the Northwest side of DC. My grandfather used to be a chef there (30s, 40s and 50s until he died of heart trouble in 1953.) I believe Arbaugh's was famous for it's barbecue ribs and was frequented by actors, actresses, athletes and other noteable persons. My dad was a server there for awhile as a teenager. He thinks he got his middle name (Herbert) from one of the owners. I would like to learn more about the history of this restaurant. Who were its owners? When was it opened? When was it closed? If anyone knows anything about this restaurant (as well as it's owners and employees), I would sure appreciate hearing from you. Thank you! Dave Duncan Ohio
