Hello, What did you need to know about the Lee Funeral Home? I live only a few miles from them and could possibly stop by if you would like me to ask them something or check on something for you. My father and grandfather owned Ryan Funeral Home, Inc. in the city on Penn Ave. but it closed in the 70's and my dad was a good friend of the old Mr Lee. Maybe I could try and get some info for you. I, for one, would like to get the information from the burial record of my supposed g-grandfather, Charles F. Robinson, who was buried in Glenwood Cemetery by John William Lee on Feb. 5, 1912. There is a lot of "circumstantial evidence" that says he's the right one, but no one thing that I can point to that proves it. I'm hoping to find his wife's name in order to confirm his identity. She would probably be the family member who was making the arrangements. There was a news notice in the paper about the death, which named no relatives. Apparently there was no formal obituary. Possibly the burial records might make mention of whatever church may have performed the funeral or graveside services.
