Still looking for my elusive SHERWOODs. I got some info from the 1900 census, nothing in 1880 census (need another try at that one) and found the following in 1970 census. Silas William SHERWOOD (my GGfather) b. 1840 VA Jane (unknown maiden name) 7 children, 6 living b. 1837 DC Bordine 8yr dau 1862 not sure of spelling Ellen (Ella) 6yr dau 1864 William S 3yr son 1867 (my GFather) Emma I 1yr dau 1869 still missing 2 children and my GGmothers maiden name. Also would like to know what county in VA Silas was born in and info about his parents. If anyone can help I sure would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. RAY (AZ)
