According to "Guide to the Records of your DC Ancestors," Grace Episcopal Church was established in 1851 and a church erected at the corner of D and Ninth Streets, S.W. The church was closed in 1957 and its extant records transferred to the Washington Cathedral, Mount St. Alban, Washington DC, 20016. Phone 537-6200. There is a fee charged for research by personnel at the Cathedral, or you can make an appointment to come and research the records yourself. Has anyone heard of it. Does it still exist? My great grandparents Lillian M Taylor and Luther Kellam Fish were married in the church on Oct 3 , 1894. I am desperately trying to figure out where the family lived and only have a tiny bit of information to work with. > Thanks for your help > Linda > > PS I have looked every where for the List which will help with directory look ups in DC. Does anyone have the URL and can share it with the list?
