I'm hoping someone on the list might be familiar with the following church: "Ninth Street Christian Church in Washington, D.C." it is mentioned in a 1963 report as having received (about 1912) the donation of a family bible (with ties to VA) that I am trying to trace. If anyone has knowledge of such a church or where documents donated to the church might be housed or even if you have some suggestions as to where to search - please let me know. In the online 1874 Georgetown Directory she is shown as living at 26 Gay in Georgetown. I am looking for a relative...Charles Langlois...he was born in 1880 in Wisconsin...then the last record I have of him was in New London, CT he was in the military training in 1900....I then found in his brother's obit....that he was in DC in 1933....as a retired U.S. Marine Officer.....I believe his death date is 6/24/1950....
