I am looking for info on Eliza Reaves/Reeves who died around 1865. I came across info that two persons related to my Marks family were executors of her will, Henry E. Marks and Wm. H. Barbour (husband of Elvira Marks). I am trying to determine if perhaps she is related to my Marks family somehow. If anyone has any info on her or the info to obtain the will, I would truly appreciate it. Chuck

I am looking for death records for GEORGE W. BYNG, b. Sept 25, 1802 and died May 7, 1847. Have written to vital stats with no results. Asked the MLK library to check for an obit. No reply. Could someone please check to see what is the entry in Ancestry's Washington Post database for: - Louis Higdon and if you have time - Margaret Higdon There's one entry each, most likely the same one. thanks, SK
I had a great deal of help with a recent request. Thank you to all of those who responded, in case I missed someone. Now, I have one more request. I am searching for a marriage between Mary A. FISTER and a gentleman by the name of SMITH. This most probably would have occurred in the 1902-1910 time frame. Based on some census records I've reviewed, the husband's first name might be Isaac or Robert. Mary's parents were William and Mary (McDonald) FISTER. Thank you. Bob Thompson Harrisburg, PA
Jalil Since Margy has already furnished you the date of the marriage and the volume and page number of the record where it may be found, may I suggest you write the DC Archives and request a copy of the original document. I received a copy of the marriage record for my greatgrandparents for the same time period from the DC Archives. Barbara
Thanks to everyone on the list who provided me the marriage date of my great grandparents. Jalil

Does anyone have access to marriage records for DC in the 1860-1885 time frame? I am looking for information on the children of Michael and Mary McDONNELL. They also went by McDONALD. Both surnames seem to have been interchangeable. Catherine (Kate) McDONNELL would have been married prior to 1870. She was still living with her family in the 1860 census. We have no knowledge of what happened to her. Mary Ann McDONNELL probably would have been married in the late 1860s, according to information we have located on her children's births. She married William H. (Will) FISTER. Bob Thompson Harrisburg, PA
