Sue: My grandparents names were: RICHARD and MAUDE LEE KELLY---lived most of their life in Virginia close to D.C. Do you recognize either of these names?? Thank you for your response!! Sharleen
Sharleen, What were your paternal grandparent's names? My grandmother had a close friend and neighbor with the surname of KELLY, and I believe there is a photo or two in her album. LOL! I'd hate to give spam signals out to any one either:-). You _could_ go to yahoo and open a new account there. If you are automatically logged in there-sign out and open a new mail account. Just answer the required fields and make up that info. Pick an address and viola, an address you can use when you want to be incognito. If you keep an eye on it you might see how much spam actually comes that way...but I have a yahoo address that is about 4 or 5 years old and I rarely get spam. I do give it out on lists I admin as an alternative address, also I sub in digest form to my rootsweb lists and subscribe to some yahoo lists with it. The only time I send to lists with it though is when I go on vacation. Not such a big deal anymore now that cox also has web mail. margy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Dotson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 12:57 PM Subject: Re: [WashingtonDC'' ] Frederick News Post > Margy, > > Thanks for the suggestion. Margy, Thanks for the suggestion. I feel dumb for not thinking of that! You are right, the cookies can (and should) be removed -- I do that with others routinely. Of course, if I made up an address I would hate if it actually happened to belong to someone and I was responsible for them getting spam. (Wonder if that's why I get so much?!?!) Died January 5, 1901. He lived at 513 F. St. NE, Washington D.C. at the time of his death. Occupation: Superintendent of Eureka Mutual Aid Society 1. I would like to know, if possible, Churches and their addresses around his address as he was an organist in a church but unsure which denomination. (he was from England so was non-catholic.) 2. Anything that could be found on the Eureka Mutual Aid Society and where their records might be stored. Marti Geare [email protected]

Looking for information on the daughter's of Marion THRIFT: Jo Ann, Marydel and Marian. Jo Ann would be about 60 and she worked for many years at Greater Southeast Community Hospital in the nursery area. She never married that I know of. Marion THRIFT was married to an Italian woman, named Mary. He is one of the many THRIFT I have traced back to Northern Neck of Virginia, Richmond County area. He is one of the few lines I've never been able to completely document. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sue
