I am interested in information on anyone by the name of McCullins, especially 1900- 1930. I am also trying to find a record of a marriage between Bernard McCullins and Maud(e) A. (last name unknown) sometime around 1920 give or take a few years. He was first married to Mary G. Donaldson, but she died in 1918.

    3. I am seeking the marriage license or a listing of their marriage in April 1902. He might be listed as W. Hanson Tams or W. H. Tams age 34 and she was Alice Verna Beamer age 22. They were my maternal grandparents. Thank you [email protected] ____________________________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs

    3. For Military records - NARA http://www.archives.gov/ column on left under research & order heading, choose "order copies" / then "military service records" / then "veterans' service records WWI - present". Make sure to read the list of required information - they demand some very specific data before they will accept a search request. I have had some requests rejected when I was not able to provide answers they considered necessary. If your veteran was also at Pearl Harbor you might want to check the numerous historical listings (online & published) for Pearl Harbor and see if he is covered in any of them. It would also be a good idea to check with the Veterans Administration http://www.va.gov/ to see what records they may have on him. If he ever received treatment from the VA they had to have records to verify he was in the military and since he was a doctor they likely have additional information on him. The VA was suggested to me when I requested copies from St. Louis, MO and discovered that the records had been destroyed in the 1970s fire. The VA was able to forward me a large file covering the veteran. Good Luck in your search and make sure in your requests that you stress his known military history - particularly involvement in Pearl Harbor.
