I found this site for Territorial maps from the URL that I posted in NORCAL a couple days ago.. THat site.....which I titled.... 600 links to maps is: http://kartoserver.frw.ruu.nl/html/staff/oddens/oddens.htm (I made up that number....I think there are more) In there......I found this awesome site for US Territorial Maps. http://xroads.virginia.edu/~MAP/terr_hp.html I've spent all morning printing them out in color........(wish I owned a laser color printer!) You can just click on the year you're interested in.......and you get that map....... Be SURE and print out the “Overview of States and Territories”. You will be able to see how LARGE the area of the Lousiana Purchase was ..........the huge amouont of land ceded by Mexico in 1848.....the Original Oregon Territory........Land ceded by Spain which is now Florida..Texas annexed in 1845. I can't say enough about these maps. I also printed a map for 1770.....showing the original 13 Colonies. It's sure nice to see something on the internet like this.
