The two counties are divided by the Lewis River. I lived on the Clark County side for over a year. Right on the river. The town itself is on the Cowlitz side. Beth Woodland, WA is in both Cowlitz and Clark County, WA. This is from the "Washington State Yearbook 1997, obtained from the Spokane Valley Library in Spokane, WA on 4 Aug 1998. It states Cowlitz, Woodland (part), population 3,400. Clark, Woodland (part), population 107. Thank's for everyone's help and the caring, sharing that so many of you have done regarding genealogy.
