You may want to join the Cowlitz County list (WACOWLIT-L) and post your inquiry there as well. Births, Marriages, Deaths are often reported in newspapers. Since there isn't any for the time period in Cowlitz Co. I would look in Lewis Co. or Clark Co. newspapers because some newspaper was probably reporting the news for Cowlitz Co. Births were not recorded on the county level until about 1891 and about 1907 on the state level. Roger H.
