LAWSON'S AND ROOT'S I am looking for any info on Elisha Lawson Sr.. He was born in 1811 Surry Co., NC. And married a Nancy Willard on May 5 1836. Nancy was born 1809 Halifax, Nova Scotia. They had 7 children: Anderson Allen, Mary, Floyd, Martha Lisa, Elisha Jr., William and Melissa. The Elisha Lawson Sr. family started in NC. then the family moved to Minnesota. Some of them stayed, and the rest of them moved on to Washington state. I do have more info on these names down. Well most of them need more info on Floyd and Mary. I know that Floyd married Lucy Root on March 7 1868, in Todd Co., MN. Looking for info on Lucy too. When Floyd and Lucy married , it was very special to me because when this happened my father side and my mothers side were brought together.
