Hi fellow listers, Can anyone tell of any orphanages that may have been in the Snohomsih Cty., (Everett) area between 1910-1920. My husbands father was put into one about that time. I am looking for an Edward Woods (b: June 1869 in Indiana) I have nothing on his family. My husband & his sisters don't know if their grandparents divorced or what happened. Their grandmother remarried a man by the name of Frank Ramage before 1920 census was taken. I have tried the WA State index, and found nothing for Edward Woods with that birthdate. I got that off the 1900 federal census for Sno Cty. Anyone have any ideas..where else to go with this? Would the court house in Everett have divorce records for that time period?
