Hi George, From the WASHINGTON-L I read your post: >I am a descendent of the following families of the 2nd Germanna >immigration: > >BROYLES/BRILES >WILHITE/WILHITE >FLESHMAN/FLEISCHMAN (g-g-g-g--grandmother) >KLUG >LONGMIRE > >Hope you are subscribed to the GERMANNA_COLONIES List. >Lots of good information there on the Germanna immigrants, >both from the 1st and 2nd immigrations. I can find a German American list but not GERMANA_COLONIES. Please tell me how to subscribe to the GERMANA-COLONIES List. I am doing some digging on the name LONGMIRE and that is what caught my eye. I have downloaded a whole bunch of information on Germana and am reading it but so far (there is a great deal of it) I have not come on the name Longmire. The Longmires that I am interested in are the descendants of James Longmire, born Indiana and moved to Washington Territory in about 1850 something. First time I can find them in the Census is Washingon, Thurston County, 1860. Anne
