Hi All... My name is Don Craig. I am making a special trip to Seattle to do some family genealogy and visit with my family. I lived in your great city for 25 years back in the 60's. I was born in Providence Hospital in Seattle. I was hoping that some good soul would help me figure out where I can find the City addresses for genealogy records in the area. I will be staying in Bellevue. 1. Where would I find Polk City directories for Seattle, Tacoma and Spokane, etc? 2. Where are the Federal Census records? 3. Where are the Washington State Census records? 4. Where would I find birth, death and divorce records. Is there an easy way to get these records if you go there in person? 5. Where might I find information on all the folks who went to Alaska for the gold rush? 6. Where are the Grade school and High school records? Are they open to the public? 7.
