I am looking for information regarding a Thomas Emery Hunt who was born about 1849 in Bureau Co. Illinois. He was known to use both Thomas and Emery as a first name. His father's name is believed to be Abel Hunt, whom died in 1854 in Bureau Co. Illinois. His mother is believed to be Margaret Finley, whom later married a George Hunt sometime between 1854 and 1857. Thomas Hunt had one brother, named James before Abel's death and several step brothers/sisters after George married Margaret. About 1870, Thomas married Mary Adeline and had three children. These are listed in the 1880 census of Bureau Co. Illinois as Elbert (age 7), Ethleen (age 5) and Elmer (age 1). Sometime afterwards Thomas is believed to have left the family (reasons unknown) and likely arrived in Seattle, Washington where it is believed he may have resided from the 1890s to the early 1900s.
