The Dawson Museum's "Pan For Gold Database" will handle regional queries - a search for "Seattle" produces a list of 4,320 people who were in the Klondike claiming Seattle as either their home town, or the city they moved to when they left. Its at http://www.gold-rush.org/ghost-07.htm I have posted a list of about 1,250 people who owned roadhouses, hotels and cafes in the Klondike (or major routes to the Klondike). Many are from Seattle - if you find relatives. drop me a line and I'll send you the info that I have on the business that they owned - sometimes lots, sometimes not much. The Seattle people that I know of are: Irvin W. GARLAND "Sol" SOLOMONSON Harry & Nan GLEAVES L. CARD Francis DORLEY Mary P. ROTHWEILER Haron JAFFE J. E. SMART Miss M. J. TAYLOR Frank DEMERS Frank CHABOT John BURKE J. B. GASS Herman GRIMM This index, and many other related resources, are at the Yukon/Alaska Genealogy Centre, at http://yukonalaska.com/pathfinder/gen/index.html To keep the information-sharing expanding, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know of any matches that you find in my index, so I can keep upgrading my databases (now over 6,000 printed pages). Have fun! Murray yukonalaska.com Your Gateway to The North on the 'Net http://yukonalaska.com
