EW settled in Dallas Co. Iowa, had a daughter named Emily, she died at age 10 yrs. You can find alot of information on this line of Decamps in this program. Several years ago a Robert DeCamp did major research on EW DeCamp line back to Holland, figured they were actual French and had been forced out of France. Robert has since died, his sister was Rosemary DeCamp the actress early 60's. EW's had 12 children 10 by first wife Anna Eliza Howe and 2 with Lib Bosler. some of the family stayed in Iowa and some move to Kansas to an orchard business and then west from there. I am Suzanne DeCamp, EW was my ggreatgrandfather. He is buried in the Panther Creek Cem. Dallas Co IA. My greatgrandfather Lafe and his brother Charles stayed in Dallas Co. to raise their families. hope this helps.
