Good Morning Everyone.. Does anyone have a good working relationship with Mueller's Funeral Home in Kennewick? I need any information that Mueller's have on Robert A. Miller born 20 Jan 1947 and died 25 May 1968 in Vietnam. Miller's father was Douglas Miller and he had two brothers, Charles and Mike. and a sister Charlene. The only other names were his Grandparents. I did call 9 people in Kennewick with the Miller surname Charles or Mike first... and it's getting kinda pricey... I already have an article about Miller from the Tri-Cities Herald and I have his obituary notice from Tri-Cities Herald. To make things a little more complicated Major Robert L. Miller died July 1968. His wife and children lived Richland. I really don't need any information about Robert L. Miller... and only mention him because there might be some confusion about 2 men (better forwarned etc. etc. etc.) I called Mueller's and the lady I talked to refused to h! elp me in anyway. I asked if I could send a letter requesting the information and I am doing so. I asked if I could send an agent to talk to them and she said maybe. What she said was I needed family permission. So I really need some one who has successfully dealt with them. What I need specifically is his service number. His unit number.(we got one from the obit but it might not be the correct one). It would help to know if he got a military headstone. Knowing his middle name would help. Robert A. Miller might be a "forgotten" soldier from the Vietnam War. No one with his name or dates are in the casualties databases of 4 different non-military organizations. He could be listed under another name or was part of a detached company when he died and isn't on any companies rows. So that's why I'm researching him... If he is entitled to be on the wall (and according to his obit and news article he is) and if he isn't on the wall some other way, I! would like the honor of having his name placed on the Memorial Wall in D.C. He would be one of 290 added since the Wall was dedicated. The Wall designers knew some would be over looked . Thank you for your patience and for bearing with me as I get down from my soap box...
