    3. The 1930 Federal Census for Thurston County, Washington list a George Pool, age 64, Physician residing in Yelm Township. He is the only person in the household. A check of the Washington State Death list between 1940 and 1996 does not show him as having died in Washington during that time. A check of the Thurston County Cemeteries that are on line does not show any Pools interred. For your information census information is on roll T626_2521, page 3A for Thurston County, Yelm Township, Washington. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 07, 2003 9:08 AM Subject: [WASHINGTON-L] George T. Pool had finally acquired his license of physician and was married to a May Pool, druggist and they were in business in Yelm, WA. After the year 1925, nothing. Dr George Pool was the father of my stepdad, and was someone to be admired. He put himself through medical school with money earned from laying track for the railroad. A hard way to earn money, and he had also adopted his own children after they had been taken from him by his in-laws in St Louis, MO, simply because the in-laws did not like the idea that their daughter had married a "worker". This is beside the point here. I would like to find out "what happened to George" and where he is buried? Help! >
