    3. I am seeking information on my grandmother's maternal uncle, Lincoln DAVIS. Uncle Linc was born in IA in 1865 and moved to WA as a young man in the 1880s. He was chief of police in Tacoma and served two terms as a state representative before moving to Seattle in 1907. There, he bought a hotel called the Dillard. He was elected again to the state legislature in 1915, but died in office. He left a widow, Cora POWER PAYNE DAVIS, and a 13-year-old daughter, Anna, from his first marriage to Anna ROSBOROUGH of IA. I would like very much to learn what became of the daughter, who would have been born in 1903 (her natural mother died when she was 6 days old). Can anyone see if there is an obit for Lincoln? He died 8 Mar 1917 in Seattle. Thank you -Lorna
