If you need addtional information on anyone who worked for the railroad, this place is a great source! I had a relative who was born in 1889, he spent most of his life working for the railroad. The information I received from these people included his dob, his parents, his complete employment history (positions, locations, time worked, salary), his first and second wives date of deaths, his 2nd wives parents, dob, dod, her parents, and her 1st two husbands!! What a gold mine. I can't remember the fee, but write to Railroad Retirement Board 844 North Rush St Chicago, IL 60611-2092 www.rrb.gov Good luck, Judy in Oregon City -- A job is nice, but it interferes with genealogy research.
