Ancil Ogg was born in Ohio about 1857. He came here to Washington and married Lucy C. Leonard in Yakima on December 10, 1887. They had two sons Fred born in 1888 and Phillip born about 1891. They lived in Ellensburg. Although when Ancil died on November 20, 1898 he was living in the Athanum Valley out of Yakima. From what I understand his wife was still in Ellensburg. (I don't know why) She later went on the marry James Allen. Fred L. Ogg married Eva Hodges (Oliva) who was the daughter of William L. and Martha Ellen Hodges of Ellensburg. Eva died in 1947. Fred died in Tacoma in January of 1936. Fred and Eva had one known daughter by the name of Wanda. I don't know what happened to her or where she ended up. I believe Phillip married a lady named Minnie and had a daughter. This is the family I have no information on. I don't know when or where Phillip died or where his kids ended up. I have obituaries for Fred, Ancil, Lucy, and Eva. I would like to find any information that will tell me more about their lives. I know Fred and Phillip worked for the Northern Pacific Railway most of their adult lives. Fred was also in the military. He entered in September of 1917. He served with Company D, First Division Locomotive Engineers, and Company B, 59th R.O.T. He went overseas November 26, 1917. Ancil's parents were Andrew F. Ogg and Deborah Carr who married in Athens County, Ohio February 7, 1850. That's about all I have for now.
