My gr-gr-grandfather served in the Spanish/American War and he and his wife (my gr-gr-grandmother) lived their last days there and are buried in their cemetery. Until the State took it over (I don't know when) it was also called the Old Soldiers Home. This one or the one in Orting (Pierce County) may be what you're looking for.
