He was born 1859, parents were James T. Coomes and Amanda Davis. His wife was Malinda Caroline Hall, b 1861 Grayson Co., Virginia. In Washington James and Caroline I believe lived in Aberdeen, Grays Harbour, Washington. They had a 10 year old granddaughter Maude Burnett living with them.
