His father was James Edward or James Edmond Moore, born in Canada, Sept 1, 1880. He also went by Ed or Edward and later moved to Portland area, where James Melville Moore, would have grown up. James Melville Moore's mother died in child birth about 1910. they baby girl also died but we have no names. Thank you, Don Davis
