Bev, This is a very interesting question. I'm sure some economics historian has created tables, graphs and lots of data to determine current values of past money and other things of value. As a matter of fact, several years ago I saw a chart in USA Today that showed the values of current commodities in dollars for past years. Anyway, I don't have an answer but I'm sure there is someone on this list who can post the answer to this list. And maybe tell us where we can get data to do this for other years.
