    3. Doug, Vital Statistics are public records, sort of. These records are held in Olympia, WA, the capitol of the state. I would refer you to a web site that explains how to request these records in any state in the U.S. Go to http://vitalrec.com/ It is my understanding that you will need to state your relationship to the person for whom you are requesting records, so perhaps you may need to be more specific as to if you are really related to these deceased persons or not. If you have not visited the Washington State GenWeb site, perhaps you'd like to try that, too. You may find help there. Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/ Hope this helps! Susan in Spokane Searching for Bain/Bayne, Bennett, Bullock, Bussert, Evans, Helms, Hensley, Jones, Leinart, Loschen, Mason, Miller, Murry/Murray,Sadler/Saddler, Seiber, Shane, and Trauernicht. -----Original Message----- From: Doug Horner <dhorner@onlink.net> To: WASHINGTON-L@rootsweb.com <WASHINGTON-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, December 16, 1998 5:21 PM Subject: [WASHINGTON-L] Frissell > > Can anyone explain to me how and where vital statistics are kept.
